할로윈 이브날, 이모의 집이 위치한 Shelter Island의 작은 섬마을로 향하던 말리(사라 덕데일)일행은 도중에 일행을 잃어버린다. 일행을 찾으러 어느 숲으로 향한 그녀들은 다행히도 일행을 찾지만, 어느 정체불명의 남자에게서 그녀의 목적지에 결코 가지 말라는 경고를 받는다. 하지만, 이것은 무시하고 그들의 길을 가는 말리일행. 곧, 그 경고를 무시한 대가를 치르게 되는데... 그것은 어린 소녀들이 극복하기에는 너무나도 끔찍하다. 과연 그들은 이 악몽같은 현실에서 살아 남을 수 있을 것인가...
