평범한 여고생인 칸자키 히토미는 부상으로 육상부를 그만둔 뒤로 어떤 것에도 흥미를 갖지 못한다. 점점 자신만의 세계에 갇혀 지내는 그녀에게 어느 날 낯선 남자의 목소리가 들려오고, 눈을 떴을 때 그녀는 에스카플로네라는 석상의 내부에 들어와 있었다. 히토미의 앞에 나타난 반이라는 남자는 용족의 후손이라고 자신을 소개했고, 에스카플로네는 전쟁의 신이라는 것을 알려준다. 그러나 영문을 알 수 없는 히토미가 당황해하는 동안 전쟁은 이미 시작되고 있었는데...
