매년 한 작품 이상의 영화를 내놓고 있는 독립영화의 도깨비를 소개한다. 전작 <어머니는 창녀다>보다는 힘이 떨어지지만 감독의 집약된 스타일이 가장 잘 드러나는 영화로 평가받기에 충분하다. 알레고리적인 이야기 틀 속에 가족관계의 괴멸과 소통의 불능성이 폭력의 상황으로 전개된다. (2010년 15회 부산국제영화제)
