샤잠!을 외치면 10살의 빌리 뱃슨은 성인 슈퍼히어로로 변신한다. 머지않아 슈퍼맨, 원더우먼, 배트맨을 비롯한 저스티스리그 멤버들은 샤잠을 팀에 합류시키고자 한다. 그러나 멤버가 되려면 자신의 진짜 정체를 밝혀야만 한다. 미스터 마인드, 블랙 아담과 싸우는 동안 빌리는 다른 사람을 믿어야 한다는 것과 도움이 필요한 사람들을 돕는 것만큼 신뢰를 얻는 것은 없다는 것을 알게 된다.
