유능한 사립탐정 서사유는 고가의 다이아몬드 유령 절도사건을 단번에 해결한다. 그 후 서사유는 탐정 사무실에서 기다리던 묘령의 여인을 만난다. 양림이라고 자신을 소개한 여인은 15년 전 사라진 아버지 양동을 찾아 달라고 의뢰한다. 서사유와 양림은 사진엽서 뒷면에 적힌 암호 좌표에서 동굴을 발견하고 들어간다. 동굴 속 실험실에는 뼈만 남은 시체가 흩어져 있다. 그곳에서 또 다른 세상으로 통하는 게이트를 통과한 서사유는 기이한 외계 생명체와 조우한다. 괴물의 공격을 피해 게이트를 빠져나온 서사유는 양림과 함께 동굴을 빠져나온 뒤 정신을 잃는데...
