마틴은 조용한 작은 마을에 그의 아내 안나를 죽이러 찾아온다. 안나는 마틴처럼 인간의 피에 중독되는 위험한 질병을 가지고 있었기 때문이다. 하지만 안나는 이미 죽은 지 오래 된 상태였다. 마틴은 질병을 없애기 위해 자살을 결심하지만 실행 하기 전, 동네 불량배들의 공격을 받는다. 조용하게 지나갈 수 있었던 낯선 자의 방문에 작은 마을은 피로 물든다.
