주인공 미아는 우연히 보게 된 서커스에서 환상적인 공연을 선보이는 공중 곡예사에게 한눈에 반한다. 두 사람의 눈이 마주치는 순간, 갑자기 곡예사는 줄에서 미끄러지고, 바닥으로 추락해 다른 세계로 빨려 들어간다. 자신도 모르게 그를 도우러 일어난 미아 역시 미지의 세계로 들어가게 되고, 두 사람은 각각 서로를 찾으며 차례로 7개의 새로운 세계를 경험하게 된다.
