베스와 프란시스는 곧 태어날 첫 아기를 기대하며 멕시코의 한적한 섬으로 휴가를 떠난다. 모든 것이 완벽해 보이는 섬에 도착한 그들을 반기는 것은 부두에서 천진난만하게 놀고 있는 아이들. 그러나 마을의 텅 빈 거리로 들어가는 순간 그들은 불안한 기운을 느끼기 시작한다. 70년대 스페인 호러 컬트 <누가 아이들을 죽일 수 있나?>의 리메이크로 원작과는 또 다른 공포가 엄습한다. (2013년 제17회 부천국제판타스틱영화제)
