시간여행의 가능성을 믿는 과학자 알렉산더 하트겐은 약혼녀를 잃고 고립돼 과거를 바꾸기 위해 타임머신 개발에 매달린다. 알렉산더는 천신만고 끝에 타임머신을 완성하고 과거로 가지만 과거는 변하지 않는다는 교훈을 얻는다. 이번에는 미래로 가 해답을 얻으려는 알렉산더는 그곳에서 엄청난 자료를 보유하고 있는 수퍼 로보트 복스를 만난다. 하지만 미래에서 만난 복수와의 만남 역시 알렉산더에게 많은 의문만을 남겨준다. 80만년 후의 미래로 던져진 알렉산더는 빛의 종족과 어둠의 종족의 싸움에 휘말리게 된다.
