나치에게서 도망쳐 살아남아야 한다!2차세계대전 중인 1942년, 학살을 피해 바르샤바 게토를 홀로 탈출한 8살 유대인 소년 스루릭은 눈 덮인 숲 속을 방황한다. 우연히 시골의 카톨릭 아주머니에게 구출된 스루릭은 살아남기 위해 유대교를 버리고 카톨릭 이름인 유렉으로 바꾼다. 하지만 독일 점령군의 강압이 심해지면서 끊임없이 나치의 눈을 피해 도망 다녀야만 하는 상황! 소년은 한 명의 인간으로서 그리고 한 명의 유대인으로서 살아남을 수 있을까?
