말레이시아 신화 속, 톰비루오는 숲의 기운을 받은 수호자로 알려져 있다. 본 영화에서는 댐 공사 과정에서 부모가 살해되고 숲에서 자라난 아이로 그려진다. 부모의 복수, 숲을 파괴하는 인간들을 응징하기 위해서 싸우는 톰비루오. 정글 속 액션씬들이 뛰어나다. (2018년 제22회 부천국제판타스틱영화제)
