크리스토퍼 로빈의 아주 친한 친구 곰돌이 푸. 푸는 백평짜리 숲에 살면서 매일 아침 자신이 가장 좋아하는 꿀을 찾아 하루 하루를 분주하게 보낸다. 어느 날, 꿀을 찾아 친구 이요르에게 간 푸는 이요르의 꼬리가 없어졌다는 사실을 알게 된다. 숲 속에서 가장 똑똑한 친구 올빼미 아울에게 이요르의 꼬리 대신 알맞은 물건을 찾아주자고 제안한다. 이제 이요르의 꼬리를 찾아주기 위해 숲 속 친구들 모두를 모집하게 되는데...
