사랑 없는 결혼생활에 정서적, 육체적 갈증을 느끼던 ‘린코’(쿠로키 히토미)와 권태로운 생활에 지친 ‘구키’(야쿠쇼 코지)는 서로 첫 눈에 반 하게 된다.
죄책감을 느끼면서도 뒤늦게 나마 찾아온 사랑이 소중한 두 사람은 위험한 사랑에 걷잡을 수 없이 빠져든다.
반복된 ‘린코’의 거짓말에 결국 두 사람의 불륜 사실을 알게 된 ‘린코’의 남편은 급기야 외도 현장을 담은 사진을 ‘구키’의 회사에 보내고, ‘구키’와 ‘린코’는 점차 설 곳을 잃게 된다.
결국 두 사람은 둘만의 낙원을 찾아 마지막 여행을 떠나게 되는데……
