전설의 괴수, 그 놈이 깨어났다!매년 희귀동물인 스라소니를 연구하는 짐과 그의 연구팀은 올 해도 어김없이 캐나다의 깊은 산 속에 위치한 눈밭기지로 향한다. 하지만 스라소니의 서식지를 확인한 연구팀은 그들이 이미 사라졌다는 사실을 알게 되고, 스라소니뿐만 아니라 숲의 모든 생물들은 물론 사람들 역시 사라지고 있다는 사실을 알게 된다. 위기를 직감한 연구팀은 다급히 기지를 떠나려 하지만 정체를 알 수 없는 괴생명체로부터 공격을 받게 되는데…
