리포터 신디 캠벨은 TV 시청률 조사 기간 중 중요한 뉴스 꺼리를 하나 발견한다. 그녀가 발견한 것은 얼마 후 무자비한 학살이 세계를 위협할 것이라는 것과 외계인의 지구 침공, 살인자의 비디오 테이프, 마약 중독자들, 절대자의 등장에 대한 예언, 무서운 눈을 가진 아이, 야망에 가득찬 백인 랩퍼, 그리고 마이클 잭슨 논쟁거리 였다. 결국 그녀는 이 모든 것을 밝혀내고, 자신을 따라다니는 이상한 사람과 함께 다시 한번 세계 평화를 위해 악의 무리와 맞서 싸우는데...
