영화학과 친구들은 우연히 잿더미 속에서 버려진 16mm 필름을 발견하고 호기심에 상영해본다.
사라진 여인, 끔찍한 자살, 갇힌 사람들…
마치 실제 사건들을 기록한 듯한 리얼한 장면들에 완전 빠져들고 급기야 한 장면을 유튜브에 올리는데 하루 만에 엄청난 조회수를 기록하게 된다.
결국 저작권 없는 필름이라며 모든 영상들을 편집해 장편 영화 제작 계획까지 세우지만, 그들을 조여오는 끔찍한 마지막 필름을 보게 되는데…
